What a post :)

The basis for our claims in Christ Jesus is our capacity to believe. In mark 9:23, Jesus said to the father of the demon-possessed boy “everything is possible for him who believes”. This means, what is possible for me may not be possible for you due to our different capacities to believe. Today, if what is possible for me is not possible for you, there is a tendency for you to question the source of my power. This is the area that has brought confusion, suspicion and controversy in the body of Christ. Rather than give the glory to God, people tend to ascribe miracles and good works to powers other than God’s power. Whereas, there is no other name by which diseased bodies can be cured, and no other name by which sinful souls can be saved except in the name of Jesus.
Let us learn to appreciate and acknowledge that God’s grace upon each and every one differs, yet we all remain servants of the same Master and in the same vineyard. So if what is possible for me in the name of Jesus is not possible for you, it does not mean that you are not a child of God, nor does it mean that I am not of God. It only shows that our capacity to believe differs. If you realise that your capacity to believe is not strong enough, you can offer a prayer of faith for it and Jesus Christ will enlarge your spiritual coasts.
You can pray like the father of the demon-possessed boy in that mark 9:24 say “Lord, I believe, help me overcome my unbelief!”

So true; “Lord help me overcome my unbelief.” the same faith that cures a headache, raises the dead; “we walk by faith and not by sight” its not what we ‘do’ first in any given situation that we are compelled; but what we believe, that we do in any given situation that we are required or compelled to respond to. Faith is DOING what one BELIEVES to be right and true; In Him we live and move and have our “being”; not our “doing.” When we BE like Jesus (have the God Kind of FAITH) His Spirit (paraklete) helps us to believe right: Mark 9:23 and Mark 9:29. Unbelief comes out by prayer and fasting; the subject matter here in Mark chapter 9 is unbelief.
